Prof. Dr. Márcio Eduardo Delamaro is a faculty member at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in São Carlos, Brazil.

His academic work primarily focuses on software verification, validation, and testing. He is a co-author of the book “Introdução ao Teste de Software,” published in 2007, which serves as a reference for academia and the software industry. Additionally, Prof. Delamaro has contributed significantly to research in structural testing criteria and mutation testing, with papers published in top-tier journals.

He has also supervised numerous master’s and doctoral students, training skilled professionals in software engineering.
